MAC Purple Rite
This was from the Styled Warriors Collection from MAC. It is a lovely frosty mid-toned purple that is semi-opaque on the lips. I have used a lot of this and hoping it repromotes soon so that I can buy another. It is a nice purple toned lipstick to wear every day without being too garishly purple for the daytime.
MAC Playtime
From the Quite Cute Collection from MAC. It os a lavender pastely color with a semi-glossy finish. Even though it is a Cremesheen it seems to apply sheerer and glossier. This can be a tricky color to work with for darker skintones. It needs a little blending in with a similar sarker tones lipliner of gloss to make it work. I use it with Magenta or Purple Rain lipliner from NYX. Works a dream :)
MAC Heroine
This is the boldest purple lipstick in my collection which is supposed to be similar to MAC's Violetta lipstick which I do now own to compare. I absolutely love this colour and its really unique. It's a matter finish but not drying at all which is a new thing happening with MAC :) Its can be an overwhelming color but teaming it up with a Magenta lipliner gives it a hint of purpley pink and looks amazing. By all means rock the vampy purple if you are feeling brave enough :P
MAC Up the Amp
This is a hugely popular and well praised lipstick from MAC's permanent collection. Its a super creamy fully opaque purple color with slight berry tones in it. This is one of my favorites from my entire collection of lipsticks and is one of the most wearable purple lipsticks I have seen. A must buy! A cheaper duplicate of this one is Revlon's Berry Haute which is 99% similar at a fraction of the cost!
