When applying face powder after foundation/concealer use a powder puff and press the powder into the skin. Do not brush powder on the skin as the brush will shift and move your unset foundation/concealer.

My Portable Blog Station.....

I love my gadgets just as much as my makeup..well almost, lol.. I have always been a bit of a computer whizz and into my devices, so when my lovely family gifted me an IPAD for my birthday I was over the moon :)  easily the best prezzie ever!!

Since creating my blog I am always on it for posting new content and was looking for a great cover to help me safely and conveniently carry it when away from home.

My new find arrived just this morning and I am more than happy with it!

Apply a little of your eyelid/eyeshadow primer such as Urban Decay Primer Potion under your eyes also, after your moisturiser/eye cream.

As much as I love my high-end branded makeup from department stores where you have a one-to-one consultation service and wider product selection I absolutely get excited about beauty bargains I find at drugstore/high street stores.

In this monthly post I will tell you peeps about my top 3 finds that are just as good if not better than the high-end expensive alternatives. These are not just mere substitutes but on par excellence with others in market with a much heftier price tags.

These little beauties will keep that urge to shop for us makeup-a-holics when our finances don't quite agree! Lol

Beauty Tip of the Day #1

Make any satin/glossy lipstick matte, preventing bleeding around the edges and last sooo much longer. Apply the first layer and blot lips with a 1 ply/thin tissue.

Then apply a second coat. Place a 1 ply/thin tissue on top of the lips and press/brush some loose face powder on top of the tissue on lips.

Having a variety of skin issues myself I am always on the look out to protect it the best way possible. Sadly, having oily-acne prone skin makes it a total mission!

Sun protection is something we all must wear every single day regardless of skin colour yet the majority of us never do especially when there's no sun shining which here in UK and especially in bonnie Scotland we rarely ever get any!

Came across some dermatological research recently of this image - a man bearing sun damage on just one side of his face over the years. I ran straight out on the hunt for my sunblock which I'm promising myself I will religiously apply daily!

If this does not convince you, don't know what will..lol..
