Beauty Tip of the Day #7

If you have really dry skin, spritz your face with 100% pure rose water and apply a few drops of glycerin to your face, mixing it in with the rose water.

Doing this before bed-time and sleeping in it overnight will help moisture the skin.. Glycerin is normally the second ingredient after aqua/water in every moisturizer!

Beauty Tip of the Day #6

Instead of spending money on specified  eyeliner brushes, buy a fine/precision brush from your local Art shop instead. They are a 10th of the price and do the job in exactly the same way and made from real hairs/synthetic also, depending on your preference.

I have MAC, Sigma, Coastal Scents and Benefit eyeliner brushes yet I always reach for one of my fine art brushes as I love how thin they are! They are literally the same brushes but  labeling  one for the use of make-up means we are charged a fortune for them. My eyeliner brush from MAC cost £16 and my brush from the art store was under £2.50!!

Emerald Blue Eyes

Another eye look for today using a gorjus vibrant blue blended with warm browns.  This is a great look for those with brown and green eyes but anybody can wear because makeup has no rules... right? ;)

Gradient Lips

I found this fun to do! Looks interesting too and a nice change from a plain one coloured lip. Even though its more of an  editorial  type of look I'm sure some of you would try this out.

Took pics in various lights to get the best result of different colours.

Beauty Tip of the Day #5

Do not smile when applying blush to find the "apple" of your cheeks. After smiling once face is back to normal, the positioning of your blush will change once your face is not smiling.

Golden Eye!

Sorry for the not so great pics and the singular eyeball, lol! I'm still trying to figure out my camera settings and the other eye was watering like crazy due to hay fever ! Also, day light disappeared on me by the I finished the look - will defo be HD pics tomorrow :P

Beauty Tip of the Day #4

Do not apply shimmery highlighter to the inner cheeks of your face. They normally have larger pores and these will be emphasised even more with the highlighter. This is because the light will hit on them making pores appear larger and more apparent.
